Advisory Board
The following executives serve on the company’s
advisory board:
Suresh Bansal. Mr. Bansal currently
serves as Chairman, Melstar Information Technologies, a globally
operating public IT services company with headquarters in India.
Melstar counts Citigroup, Salomon Smith Barney, Lloyds of London,
IBM, and Procter & Gamble among its many Fortune 500 clients.
Mr. Bansal is a Commerce Graduate with a Diploma in Business Administration
from Mumbai University. His career spans over 24 years in business
planning & administration, business development, international
marketing and strategic planning. He has proven entrepreneurial
skills and experience in marketing IT solutions in the US, Europe
and Asia. Most recently he has been active in forming joint ventures
and developing new markets.
Bill Morgan. Mr. Morgan currently
serves as Principal Consultant of
Avistas Business Engineering LLC. Mr. Morgan is a proven executive
with more than 12 years of experience managing complex technologies
on a global scale. Prior to his current role, he was an Executive Vice
President and Chief Solutions officer at bTrade, a provider for business
transactions data platforms. He also served as an independent
technology consultant among other leading major government and enterprise
telecommunications infrastructure deployments. His background includes
systems integration, infrastructure design, development, and delivery
as well as vendor management for a wide range of enterprise and
government clients. Mr. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications
Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University.
Mart D. Nelson, P.E. Chief Engineer,
Avistas Business Engineering LLC. Mr. Nelson is a professional engineer
and businessman with more than 35 years experience in business operations,
complex software, systems and networking projects for Fortune 500
corporations, governments and NGOs. As an engineering consultant
for the last 20 years, Mr. Nelson has worked on a number of business
and technical re-engineering projects, including cost cutting exercises
as well as call center development and implementation. Currently
he serves on the board of the Texas Telecommunications Infrastructure
Fund, appointed by (then) governor George W. Bush and overseeing
$1.5 billion in grants. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Houston as well as an M.S. in Computer Science
from the University of Houston.
Vivek Sekhar. As Founder, 2i Capital
Group, Mr. Sekhar has 16 years of international experience in academics
and management consultancy specialising for the past 12 years in
investment fund management and venture capital relating to India.
His track record includes successful investment fund management
assignments with Barings, Fleming, ANZ Bank, mainly investing in
knowledge-based industries in India and Europe. He was ranked 11th
in the Top 20 Fund Manager Survey by AsiaMoney in 1998, and has
managed portfolios of over $350 million. He qualified for the Investment
Management Certificate (IMRO, UK) in 1996. Mr. Sekhar holds an MBA
from Manchester Business School, England, a master's degree in sociology
from Jamia Millia University in New Delhi, and a bachelor's degree
in economics from Delhi University.
Harry Sethna. Mr. Sethna is Vice
President of Fernasé Corp., a consulting organization specializing
in re-engineering business and financial processes, with call center
clients including NationsBank, Stream International, and VeriSign.
Mr. Sethna previously served as a Vice President at SITEL Corporation,
a leading global provider of contact center and eCRM services, where
he implemented customer centric financial and reporting best practices
globally, and lead teams that developed SITEL’s offshore contact
center capacity in India, Canada, as well as the Caribbean. Previously
at Price Waterhouse, he managed the implementation of large-scale
systems integration projects. Mr. Sethna has over 20 years of financial,
business development, and project management experience, and has
held senior finance and management roles, ranging from consultant
to CFO. He holds an MBA from the University Notre Dame and is a
Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and
Wales.
Scott Shute. As president and chief
executive officer of etalk Corporation, Scott Shute is responsible
for setting the overall strategic vision for the company. With more
than 15 years of experience in call center technology and the customer
service industry, he is a proven leader in operations, customer
relations, management and information systems ranging from start-ups
to multi-million dollar companies. His prior experience and success
enable Shute to direct and drive the vision for etalk. Shute was
an etalk customer, prior to joining their team. He served as the
call center national director for Verio, Inc., the world's largest
Web hosting company. Shute joined Verio in 2000 and was responsible
managing and building the integration of 15 independent contact
centers to seven connected national contact centers, which handled
more than 150,000 voice transactions per month. Shute received a
bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State
University, Sacramento.
