Startup Client Outsource Names Advisory Board
Client Outsource, an offshore service provider in outsourced
customer relationship management, was founded late last year by Dell call center
business veterans Vinoo A. Mehera and Christopher Ewen. The company
focuses on technical support, sales and back-office support for customers in
North America and Europe. The company this month named it's advisory
board.
Board members include: Scott Shute, CEO of etalk, a
provider of of performance impact solutions for call centers Harry Sethna, now
at Fernasé, was formerly a member of the SITEL team that set up operations in
India, Canada, and the Caribbean. Suresh Bansal, Chairman of Melstar, has also
joined. Another new advisor is Bill Morgan, with e-collaboration firm bTrade in

Cirrus Logic Strikes Licensing Agreement with Innovative Electronic Designs
Peak Audio, the Commercial Audio Products business of Cirrus
Logic Inc. (Nasdaq:CRUS), announces that a CobraNet Licensing Agreement has been
reached with Innovative Electronic Designs Inc. (IED). IED is a manufacturer of
commercial audio systems and communication systems for airports, convention
centers and large industrial facilities. Cirrus Logic acquired the assets of
Peak Audio, a leading provider of audio networking solutions, in 2001. CobraNet,
developed and marketed by Peak, is the professional audio industry's leading
technology for distributing uncompressed, real-time, digital audio over a Fast
Ethernet network.

Dell sees healthy
sales growth in Latin America
The world's No. 2 PC maker, Dell Computer Corp. (NasdaqNM:DELL
- News), expects its sales
volume in Latin American to grow by more than the 51 percent this year, one of
Dell's regional chiefs said on Wednesday. "We had a great 2002. We weren't
affected by the exchange rate or by the increase in interest rates and we hope
to grow more than the 51 percent we saw last year," said Terry Kahler, who is in
charge of Dell's operations in Brazil and the bottom end of South America.

ProsoftTraining Reports Q2 Loss of $1.16, Now a Phoenix Company
ProsoftTraining (Nasdaq:POSO
- News) today reported
financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended Jan. 31, 2003. Revenues
for the second quarter of fiscal 2003 were $2.84 million, compared to $4.41
million in the previous year's second quarter. Net loss for the second quarter
of fiscal 2003 was $1.44 million or $0.06 per share, compared to net loss of
$2.20 million or $0.09 per share for the second quarter of fiscal 2002. Net loss
before income taxes, amortization and depreciation was $1.16 million or $0.05
per share, compared to $1.32 million or $0.05 per share for the second quarter
of fiscal year 2002. The cash balance at Jan. 31, 2003 was $1.58 million
compared to $2.73 million for the previous quarter. Net cash used by operating
activities during the second quarter of fiscal 2003 was $1.18 million. The
company's headquarters location was moved from Austin, Texas to Phoenix, Ariz.
in January and the Austin location was closed. The company has recently entered
into two relationships that are expected to provide long-term revenue potential.
In addition, the agreements have provided the company with more than $400,000 of
additional cash. These relationships will be announced separately through
company-issued press releases over the coming weeks.
OmegaBand Files to
Liquidate
OmegaBand Inc., an Austin startup company that developed
communications gear for use in high-speed computer networks, has filed for
Chapter 7 liquidation in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, reports the statesman. The
company, which was hurt by the slow adoption of new products tied to the
InfiniBand networking standard, shut down its operations last October and
attempted to sell its intellectual property. In its bankruptcy filing, the
company estimated that it had between 50 and 99 creditors and debts of between
$1 million and $10 million. Its assets were estimated at between zero and
$50,000.
Multimedia Games and National Indian Gaming Commission Settle
Multimedia Games Inc. (Nasdaq:MGAM)
reached a settlement with the National Indian Gaming Commission ("NIGC")
resolving its lawsuit and related appeal concerning Multimedia's MegaNanza
family of games, and establishes a fast-track, 60-day timetable for NIGC review
of Multimedia's MegaNanza replacement game, Reel Time Bingo. The U.S. Department
of Justice has approved the settlement agreement. Pursuant to the terms of the
settlement agreement, Multimedia recently submitted Reel Time Bingo to the NIGC
for expedited review and classification of the game and its equipment.
Multimedia is seeking a Class II classification for Reel Time Bingo.
